When you no longer need data, you can use the Viewer to permanently remove recordings from the Data Vault or a Client. There are two ways to remove recordings. (1) Delete all recordings from the current directory, or (2) delete selected recordings from the directory.
Once you have loaded recordings for a user or computer, you may find you can delete the entire set of recordings.
To delete all data:
Open the folder in the Viewer.
Open the File menu and select Delete All Recordings.
Click Yes at the confirmation message. All files within the currently loaded folder are deleted.

If recordings have no value or should be deleted for security, you can select individual events for deletion. The Delete All and Delete keys on the toolbar of each view allow you to do this. Delete All is available for views with Event trees, and Delete is available for Events lists and Detail lists.
To delete selected recordings:
Open the folder in the Viewer.
Display the view of recordings you wish to delete.
Select items to delete.
Click the Delete
or Delete All button.

Click Yes at the confirmation message.
