Configure Computers
By default, the Client captures conversations that occur in chat rooms (at web sites) or via Instant Messaging (Yahoo, AOL, MSN Messenger). You can turn off this type of recording or change settings in the Chat/IM panel of the Deployment Utility or Client Settings.
Capture Chat and Instant Message Activity - Check to enable recording and clear the checkbox to disable all recording of chat or Instant Messaging conversations. This setting has no effect on the other recording tools.
Scan Chat and Instant Messages for Keywords - Check this option to scan all Chat/IM Activity for keywords and send an alert when a match is detected. Clear this option to omit Chat/IM from Keyword Alert scans.
Advanced - Click the Advanced button for advanced Chat/IM settings. The Advanced settings let you turn OFF recording of Chat/IM by protocol (such as MSN Exchange or Skype), or specify additional ports to monitor.
